Situated on the southern shore of Sylvan Lake, The Town of Sylvan Lake is located just 18 kilometres west of Red Deer.  The Town is ideally located on the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor, with both Calgary and Edmonton less than 150km away to the north and south of the Town. A beautiful two hour drive West of Sylvan Lake will put you in the Rocky Mountains.
